The Idea of forming a creative group came from no other than our president Jordana Marinos.

She pitched the idea to 4 of her friends about collaborating and working towards exhibiting further and more unique forms of art in our home town of Charlotte. After multipLe group name testing later... The Gyals were born!

THE GROUP NAME Derives from THE niche japanese subculture name of Gyaru. gYARU represents rebellion of tradition in ITS lifestyle, art and fashion IN WHICH WE FEEL DESCRIBES THE TEAMS ATTITUDE PERFECTLY.

The Main group would consist of Jordana, Zarria, Luciana, Fatima, and Ivana.

With combined talents in a variety of different art forms, the Gyals recognized they could achieve their dreams of pursuing their hobbies more in depth with the help and support of each other.
 

Since our launch in 2023, Gyal Gala has worked tOWARDS promotING more colorful and exciting new breakthroughs in DIFFERENT ART MEDIUMS AND EVENTS. oUR ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO REVERSE CORPORATE NEUTRALS AND BRING BACK THE CREATIVITY, COLOR AND SELF CONFIDENCE OF THE COMMUNITY.

wE HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH THAT BY CREATING A VARIETY OF EVENTS, ART PEICES AND CLOTHING ITEMS TO INSPIRE AND ENCOURAGE OTHER GYALS TO BREAK OUT OF THE NORM AND THIER OWN SHELL!
